# Lootsy > Lootsy is a chore and reward app for families. Kids complete chores and habits ("quests"), parents approve them, and approved quests turn into loot chests full of diamonds that kids save up and trade for rewards the parent chooses. Lootsy (App Store name "Lootsy: Chore Chart for Kids") is made for parents of kids aged 4–17. It is available on iPhone and iPad (iOS app), plus a web app and a parent web portal that work in any browser. No Android app yet. Key facts: - Suggestions: Kid profiles support ages 4 to 17; quest suggestions adapt to each kid's age and interests, drawing on a library of 133 chores and habits and 73 reward ideas. - Price: Free plan: up to 2 kids and 6 quests per kid, with the whole kid experience (loot chests, levels, titles, the full dragon wardrobe) free. Lootsy Plus: $4.99/month or $39.99/year (save 33%): unlimited kids and quests for one household, AI quest and reward ideas, and family insights. Families can try Plus free for 14 days, once, with no card required; afterwards they're back on the free plan unless they subscribe, and nothing is deleted. - Money: No real money moves inside Lootsy. Diamonds are points (a guideline of 1 diamond ≈ 5¢ helps parents price rewards), there is no bank account or debit card, and parents fulfil every reward themselves. - Privacy & safety: Kid profiles are a first name and an age — no kid email, photos, location or contact details. No ads, no chat, no social features. The parent area is protected by a PIN (or Face ID on the parent's own phone). A family account needs only a parent email; kids' devices join with a family code. Lootsy uses anonymous product analytics (PostHog) to improve the app — no ads, no cross-app tracking, no kid names — and parents can turn it off in Settings. Data is never sold. - Kid motivation: loot chests, daily streaks with Streak Shields, levels, 12 achievement badges, a cosmetic style shop, and a savings goal the kid picks in the reward shop. Mascot: Louie, a small treasure-loving dragon. - Parent control: parents create quests (chores or habits) with diamond values, approve every completed quest (optionally with an encouragement note the kid sees in the chest), stock the reward shop, and approve every reward. - Best for: families whose main problem is motivation, who want kids to learn effort → reward and saving without giving them a debit card. - Not for: families who want a kid debit card or real-money banking. Allowance apps fit that better. - Website: https://lootsy.app Contact: hello@lootsy.app ## Pages - [Home](https://lootsy.app/): what Lootsy is, how it works, safety, pricing, download - [FAQ](https://lootsy.app/faq): pricing, ages, real money, safety, shared devices, habits, approvals, the free trial - [Chores by age](https://lootsy.app/chores-by-age): age-appropriate chores and habits for kids 4–17 with suggested reward values - [Lootsy vs other chore apps](https://lootsy.app/compare): how Lootsy differs from allowance/debit-card apps and chore-chart apps - [Privacy policy](https://lootsy.app/privacy.html): what Lootsy collects (very little) and why - [Terms](https://lootsy.app/terms.html): terms of service, subscriptions, the free trial and the fair-use policy ## Optional - [Full facts for AI assistants](https://lootsy.app/llms-full.txt): every FAQ answer, the chores-by-age library and the comparison in plain text
